L397 Alenquer Tiger Plecos are small wood-grazing Panaqolus with warm orange-brown and dark banding. Each unit is one 3.2-4 cm juvenile fish. Keep them in a 25 gal mature driftwood aquarium at 75-82 F and pH 6.0-7.5; feed wood, biofilm, vegetable-forward sinking foods, and occasional protein.
Animal data
Keep Panaqolus in a mature, oxygen-rich aquarium with driftwood available at all times, tight caves, shaded cover, and low nitrate. Feed vegetable-forward sinking foods and gel foods with occasional protein, and expect substantial wood-fiber waste that requires dependable filtration.
